Position Description:

MBF is looking for an ag electrician who has some mechanical capabilities. The focus of this position would be to troubleshoot and repair 110-, 220-, and 480-volt electrical circuitry in connection with electric motors, conveyors, pilers, pumps, generators, potato production equipment, storage facilities, and wash plant.

Some occasional heavy lifting and some extended hours required during peak times.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate would have a valid driver’s license, good work ethic, and willingness to learn. Basic electrical and mechanical skills required. Flexibility of schedule and willingness to work long hours as needed. Preferable to have mechanical experience with trenchers or backhoes and able to fix and maintain electrical systems.  Training is available.  Welding ability is a plus.  Experience with three phase, motor controls and good schematic reading skills are a must.
