Beans

We do not plant beans until after the date of the last expected frost.  In Wisconsin, this is typically around May 20.  Snap beans need a minimum soil temperature of 50° for proper germination and growth.  Our acreage of snap beans continues to grow with the development of new acreage.  We have been raising snap beans/wax beans for 13+ years.
